Terms & Conditions
Acceptance into the retreat is subject to the following:
• Online booking completion with agreement to the T&C’s
• Receipt of deposit and or payment in full
• Confirmation from ALIVE Wellness
• Completed Wellness Questionnaire
All prices and payments are in USD. Payments in EUR or SGD are accepted and you need to request it to email@example.com.
No other currencies will be accepted. If booking online, you will be offered two payment methods:
1. ONLINE PAYMENT: PAYPAL
• This payment is automatically taken in full and includes the 50% non-refundable deposit.
2. ONLINE PAYMENT: CREDIT CARD
• The payment can be made in full and includes the 50% non-refundable deposit.
• A 50% non-refundable deposit can be made to secure your reservation and then the balance is payable 42 days prior to arrival
If your booking is made within 30 days of the retreat confirmation, then the full amount is payable at the time of booking.
Deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE.
If you cancel your retreat:
• 30 days or more prior to the retreat start date, ALIVE Wellness will retain the deposit;
• 30 days or fewer prior to the retreat date, ALIVE Wellness will retain 100% of the amount paid in connection with the booking.
All bookings have a mandatory check box for agreement to our Terms and Conditions & Cancellation policy before the booking is finalized.
If you fail to join the retreat, arrive after the commencement of the retreat, or leave the retreat prior to its completion, no refund will be made.
If you wish to transfer from one retreat to another or transfer your booking to a third party you must notify us at least 30 days prior to the retreat booking date. Only one transfer is permitted and a fee of $100 will apply. If you notify us less than 30 days prior to the retreat booking date the refund policy applicable to cancellations will apply. Transfers to a third party can only be made to the retreat that was originally booked.
Any refunds allowed will incur a 4% processing fee.
No one books a retreat with the intention of cancelling it, but unexpected events do occur, so please consider purchasing a travel insurance (see below) and that it is your responsibility to read and understand our cancellation policies. Exceptions cannot be made for any reason, including weather, injury/illness, or personal emergencies. No refunds or credits for failure to attend or failure to complete the retreat, or for arriving late or leaving early. We recommend that you purchase your own travel insurance to also cover medical expenses in the event you have an accident while on the retreat. ALIVE Wellness staff is available to help you find and book the best insurance for your journey.
We reserve the right to cancel retreats with inadequate participant interest, in which case all money paid to ALIVE Wellness will be refunded. Notification of cancellation for this reason will occur at least 1 month prior to retreat start date.
ALIVE Wellness cannot be held responsible for any personal expenses, such as airline tickets due to changes in itineraries or retreat cancellations.
Before your retreat start date, you will be sent a link to our Wellness Questionnaire, which is personalised to you. The information provided will enable your yoga instructor and wellness professionals to offer you the safest and most appropriate yoga practice for your current level of health and fitness and to satisfy any dietary requirement you might have. The Wellness Questionnaire is a prerequisite to your stay and attendance is subject to the completion of this form. Therefore, please ensure you complete it as soon as you receive the link. Please note that our minimum age requirement is 18 years of age unless the minor is accompanied by one of the parents.
Please ensure that you have full travel insurance to cover the activities on this holiday. We STRONGLY recommend that you obtain appropriate travel insurance at time of booking to cover cancellations or loss of items and medical expenses. We will not be liable for any loss or damages incurred through circumstances beyond our reasonable control. We also strongly recommend it cover cancellation, curtailment, personal liability and loss of luggage and personal effects. We do not accept liability for loss or damage to your personal property nor any medical condition, which may develop during or after your holiday. Your travel insurance should cover these and any other contingencies. Whilst all reasonable measures are taken to ensure a high standard of health and safety, our retreats are situated in a tropical and natural environment and we are not responsible for any injuries caused by nature or the environment.
Without limitation, ALIVE Wellness is not responsible or liable for bodily injury, death, delays, changes or losses caused by, but not limited to acts of God, war, threat of war, closure of airports, civil strife, natural disasters, medical pandemics, accidents or any other events beyond or within our control; guests’ injuries, illnesses, medical nor psychiatric conditions developed during nor subsequent to the holiday; loss of/or damage to personal property of guests.
We will try and ensure that the programme set for the year will remain as such, however if for any reason a teacher becomes unavailable, we shall replace her/him with an equally suitable teacher. Wherever possible you will be advised in advance of any alterations to the schedule once booked. ALIVE Wellness however, reserves the right in any circumstances to cancel a retreat, in which case we will offer a full refund of all monies paid.
ALIVE Wellness reserves the right to update and/or alter these terms and conditions at any time, and it is your responsibility to be familiar with them prior to booking with us. The latest terms and conditions can always be found above, on the booking page and will supersede any previous versions.
